Le syndicat de la police néerlandais NPB plaide pour la séparation des demandeurs d’asile par ethnie et par religion. La proposition rappelle celle émise il y a quelques jours en Allemagne. Si cette séparation n’est pas faite, la police néerlandaise craint la multiplication des violences inter-ethniques et inter-religieuses.
Cette recommandation du syndicat de police néerlandais fait suite aux très violentes bagarres entre immigrés au centre de réfugiés à Utrecht dans la nuit de vendredi à samedi.
Aux environs de minuit et demi, deux grands groupes d’immigrés s’étaient formés pour s’affronter. La police avait réussi à les calmer mais de violentes bagarres ont repris quelques heures plus tard.
Des blessés ont dû être transportés à l’hôpital.
Des émeutes ont également été signalées autour d’un centre de réfugiés à Purmerend où des villageois en colère ont manifesté vigoureusement leur désaccord avec l’arrivée des « réfugiés ».
