Par communiqué de presse, Marine Le Pen et Gilbert Collard ont annoncé qu’ils nommaient Aurélien Legrand « délégué général auprès du secrétaire général du Rassemblement Bleu Marine » (RBM).
Au préalable, Aurélien Legrand était devenu récemment vice-président du groupe FN au conseil régional d’Ile-de-France.
Il reste à préciser qu’Aurélien Legrand était un membre fondateur du NPA en 2007, qu’il en a été membre jusqu’en 2010, qu’il a été candidat aux élections municipales de Paris en 2008 sous l’étiquette de la Ligue Communiste Révolutionnaire (LCR).
En 2013, il avait pris contact avec Wallerand de Saint-Just, secrétaire départemental de la fédération du Front national de Paris, ancien candidat à la mairie de Paris et tête de liste FN aux régionales en Ile-de France, et était rapidement devenu le rédacteur des communiqués du FN parisien.
