On peut remarquer ces derniers temps que certains médias font une distinction de plus en plus constante entre islamiste et djihadiste en Syrie. Ainsi, on peut lire sur le site du journal belge Le Soir que:« Les rebelles islamistes ont repoussé un assaut d’insurgés jihadistes contre une ville de l’est de la Syrie… Excédés par les exactions attribuées à l’EIIL (Etat islamique en Irak et au Levant) et sa volonté d’hégémonie, les rebelles islamistes et « modérés » ont retourné début janvier leurs armes contre leurs ex-alliés dans le combat contre le régime de Bachar al-Assad »
On connaissait bien sûr la distinction entre musulmans et islamistes mais voilà qu’on a un autre niveau de différenciation. Cela va devenir de plus en plus difficile de suivre mais surtout de saisir la différence entre un islamiste et un djihadiste. En tout cas, c’est une preuve de plus que le confit syrien s’est un peu plus complexifié.
