Algérie – Si l’Europe se montre très ouverte au prosélytisme musulman, avec des médias mainstream qui nous font de grands reportages sur le ramadan en occultant complètement les fêtes chrétiennes de l’Ascension puis de la Pentecôte, il n’y a aucune réciproque dans les pays musulmans qui, bien au contraire, condamnent avec fermeté tout prosélytisme chrétien, quitte à organiser quelques manipulations des faits pour salir les chrétiens fréquemment arrêtés. Ainsi, trois jeunes convertis au christianisme ont été arrêtés, mercredi, dans la wilaya El Bayadh pour «vol et prosélytisme ayant pour objectif de déstabiliser la foi musulmane». Selon le rapport de la police judiciaire, les trois individus auraient « subtilisé des livres religieux et des croix pour se livrer à du prosélytisme sur les réseaux sociaux ». Etrange.
La section économique et financière du service de police judiciaire de la wilaya d’El Bayadh, a arrêté trois jeunes hommes âgés de 28 à 32 ans, pour vol et prosélytisme, rapporte le quotidien El Khabar.
Selon la même source, la police a saisi cinq livres religieux, dont un évangile, ainsi qu’un certain nombre de croix « qui leur servaient à faire du prosélytisme, notamment sur Facebook ». Les trois individus ont été inculpés pour «association de malfaiteurs, vol et dissimulation d’objets volés et tentative de déstabilisation de la foi musulmane». Comme par hasard, le lieu où ces objets ont été volés n’a été précisé.
