Le Parquet national financier ouvre une enquête contre le secrétaire général de la présidence de la République, Alexis Kohler.
Ce dernier est soupçonné de « mélanges des genres » et de « prise illégale d’intérêts et soupçons de trafic d’influence ». En cause selon l’association anticorruption, Anticor, un possible conflit d’intérêts entre sa fonction officielle et ses liens familiaux avec l’armateur italo-suisse MSC. Cette société est impliquée dans de nombreux contrats d’État et présente sur les chantiers de Saint-Nazaire.
L’Élysée indique pour sa part que son secrétaire général avait « pris note » de la plainte déposée contre lui par l’association Anticor, qui repose sur « des soupçons totalement infondés jetés sur lui à l’évidence en raison de ses fonctions ». « C’est bien volontiers qu’Alexis Kohler communiquera au parquet l’ensemble des documents prouvant sa conduite respectueuse du droit dans toutes les circonstances de son parcours professionnel », précise la présidence.
