Dans une lettre d’information adressée à ses employés le 22 octobre 2015, la Bank Austria met en garde contre une nouvelle escroquerie mise en place par des migrants.
La Bank Austria transmet à ses employés une information fournie par l’Association des banques allemandes, à destination des agents financiers :
Selon un avertissement qui nous est parvenu de l’Association des banques allemandes, il ya un danger potentiel de la part de nouveaux clients qui s’identifient avec de fausses cartes de réfugiés. Dans les cas déjà connus, les identités données étaient d’origine nigériane. Nous demandons de renforcer la prudence lors de l’examen des documents !
Le document signale la procédure à suivre si un agent financier est face à un cas suspect et doute de l’authenticité des documents fournis par le « réfugié » voulant ouvrir un compte.
