Un guet apens a été tendu aux pompiers d’Ajaccio dans la nuit de Noël. Les auteurs auraient été identifiés et provenaient de la cité des Jardins de l’Empereur. Deux pompiers ont été gravement blessés.

Une manifestation de soutien aux pompiers a eu lieu le lendemain, puis 300 personnes environ ont fait une descente punitive dans la cité des Jardins de l’Empereur et ont saccagé la mosquée du quartier et brûlé des corans.
La mosquée est sous protection policière. Et les pompiers ? Quant aux agresseurs des soldats du feu, ils n’ont toujours pas été appréhendés…
