Voici un extrait de l’email qu’Airbnb a envoyé à tous ses utilisateurs et que l’on retrouve sur leur site :

Vous vous engagez à traiter chacun avec respect, sans jugement ou préjugé, et sans distinction de race, religion, origine nationale, ethnicité, handicap, sexe, identité de genre, orientation sexuelle, ou âge.Que se passe-t-il si je refuse l’engagement ?
Si vous choisissez de le refuser, vous ne pourrez plus héberger ou réserver sur Airbnb, et vous aurez la possibilité d’annuler votre compte. Lorsqu’un compte est annulé, les voyages déjà réservés sont également annulés et les réservations sont impossibles ; cependant, vous pouvez continuer à consulter les annonces Airbnb.
Voilà qui s’appelle respecter la liberté de chacun : car si en France l’état totalitaire interdit de refuser sous son toit une personne pour une problématique de mœurs, il n’en n’est pas de même au Etats-Unis. D’ailleurs Airbnb précise bien que cette campagne vise principalement les Etats-Unis.
Comme on le voit, Airbnb est contre la discrimination, mais discrimine les utilisateurs qui ne sont pas de leur idéologie ! Un pas de plus dans la dictature…
