Le fait est maintenant bien divulgué. Un diplomate néerlandais a en effet été agressé à son domicile russe par des hommes qui s’étaient présentés comme des inspecteurs venant relever les compteurs électriques. Ces derniers ont également retourné l’appartement et ont laissé un message sur le miroir du diplomate, tracé au rouge à lèvres : « LGBT » entouré d’un cœur. On connait les tensions entre les deux pays mais là n’est pas le sujet. Le site du journal « Le Monde » a titré : « En Russie, agression homophobe d’un diplomate néerlandais ». Est-ce encore une tentative de diaboliser un peu la Russie ? On peut se demander en quoi cette agression est homophobe puisque les agresseurs ont entouré d’un cœur le mot LGBT. C’est plutôt un signe d’amour et non de haine. D’autre part, il n’est fait nulle part mention d’insultes de ce genre. On ne sait pas réellement ce que signifie cette inscription ni quels étaient les motivations des agresseurs tout comme on ne sait rien de l’orientation sexuelle de ce diplomate. Alors parler d’agression homophobe, c’est vraiment aller vite en besogne ! Mais c’est toujours plus simple de dire du mal de la Russie !
