Le communautarisme noir redouble d’activisme en ce moment.
A Brixton, au sud de Londres, des activistes ont profité mercredi dernier d’une tempête de neige pour remplacer les affiches des abribus.
Ils y ont placé des affiches pirates parodiant des affiches de films célèbres mais en remplaçant tous les personnages par des Noirs.
JCDecaux, la société de publicité qui possède la plupart des espaces d’affichage des arrêts d’autobus, avait tout enlevé dès vendredi matin et n’a pas répondu aux demandes de commentaires formulées par divers médias britanniques.
Cette campagne d’affichage pirate a été réalisée par Special Patrol Group qui revendique diverses opérations de «vandalisme publicitaire» et avait été contacté par Amelia Viney, l’avocate en chef de la Advocacy Academy, une organisation qui vise à canaliser la colère des jeunes dans l’activisme politique, et a conçu le projet avec des jeunes Noirs.
Des slogans accompagnent les affiches. Par exemple : « Si vous êtes surpris, cela signifie que vous ne voyez pas assez de personnes noires dans des rôles importants. Rejoignez-nous dans notre mission pour une meilleure représentation noire dans les médias. «
