Cette action pourtant audacieuse est néanmoins passée quelque peu inaperçue. Des émissions « Destination Eurovision » de France 2, il n’aura été retenu qu’une seule chose : la France sera représentée à ce concours par Bilal Hassani, un travesti d’origine marocaine. Mais le 19 janvier en soirée, en direct sur France 2, des militants du BDS (une organisation appelant au boycott d’Israël) ont fait irruption sur scène pour protester contre l’organisation de l’Eurovision à Tel Aviv le 19 mai prochain. Les caméras ont rapidement détourné les angles de prises de vue mais la séquence au ralenti montre bien l’action de ces militants jusqu’à leur évacuation par le service d’ordre.
