La marque britannique de chaussures Doc Martens a réalisé un spot publicitaire dont le contenu véhicule une propagande transformiste transgenre.
Depuis longtemps, cette marque a la réputation d’être engagée politiquement. Pendant les années ’80, ces chaussures étaient portées par les punks et les « redskins » ou skinheads d’extrême gauche.
Cette marque était récemment partenaire du festival Homotopia de Liverpool. Elle lance maintenant une campagne publicitaire à la tonalité militante LGBT avec le slogan #StandForSomething («Défends tes convictions») dont les visuels sont systématiquement homosexuels et/ou transgenres.
