En Asie aussi, la théorie du genre se propage. Elle est notamment promue à l’Université Nationale de Singapour (NUS) depuis plusieurs années déjà, Les autorités de ce campus sont considérées « queer-friendly », comme l’explique un professeur homosexuel. Un « Collectif gender » est même officiellement présent dans les universités de Singapour. Ce « Collectif gender » s’adresse aux étudiants, aux professeurs, au personnel et aux anciens de l’université.
Ici aussi des « études de genre » sont enseignées en collaboration avec l’Université de Yale (Etats-Unis). C’est Brian Bergen-Aurand, un professeur américain notoirement homosexuel, qui dirige le programme. Un programme qui traite de toutes les « bizarreries » sexuelles et s’accompagne de projections de films pornographiques consacrés à toutes les déviances…
D’autre part, l’université nationale de Singapour organise également un Festival des Arts parmi lequel on trouve des « spectacles » homosexuels.
Jusqu’il y a peu, seuls quelques groupes d’étudiants chrétiens témoignaient de leur hostilité à tout cela. Mais depuis quelques semaines, c’est un professeur musulman, Syed Muhd Khairudin Aljunied, qui fait parler de lui. Il a publié un article dans lequel il dénoncé « l’islam libéral » qui ne dénonce pas les revendications LGBT. Si ce professeur est désormais décrié parmi ses collègues, il a par contre donné du courage à beaucoup d’étudiants qui font à présent ouvertement savoir leur désapprobation vis-à-vis de la théorie du genre et des mœurs LGBT.
