Le chanteur marocain Saad Lamjarred a été placé en garde à vue par la gendarmerie de Saint-Tropez (Var) dimanche matin, soupçonné de viol. Les faits se sont déroulés dans un établissement de Saint-Tropez dans la nuit de samedi à dimanche, et une enquête en flagrance a été diligentée à la suite de la plainte d’une femme pour « faits caractérisés de viol ».
Saad Lamjarred, star marocaine, avait déjà été mis en examen pour « viol aggravé » et « violences volontaires aggravées » en octobre 2016 à Paris et écroué. Les avocats Dupond-Moretti et Jean-Marc Fedida avaient obtenu sa remise en liberté, sous bracelet électronique, à la suite d’une décision de la cour d’appel de Paris.
Le chanteur a également été mis en examen pour « viol » le 11 avril suite à la plainte d’une jeune Franco-Marocaine affirmant avoir été abusée et frappée par le chanteur, à Casablanca en 2015. Saad Lamjarred avait aussi été mis en cause dans une affaire de viol présumé aux États-Unis datant de 2010, mais les poursuites ont été abandonnées.
