Elle a réussi à en empêcher la démolition qu’avait décidée la mairie de Lyon en 2003. Mais, malgré les subventions obtenues pour la restauration de cette église, la mairie a annoncé un nouveau projet en juin 2016: concéder un bail emphytéotique à un promoteur pour transformer l’église Saint-Bernard en un parc d’affaires avec café, brasserie, et bureaux!Cette église ayant été consacrée au culte, on ne peut la transformer pour en faire un usage bassement profane!
De plus, on ne sait pas à ce jour ce que la mairie a fait avec les subventions obtenues depuis 2003, subventions qui étaient prévues pour la restauration de l’église.
Ainsi, outre les appels aux dons pour renforcer les moyens d’action de l’association, celle-ci a mis en ligne la pétition suivante que je vous invite vivement à signer:
Attention! Les partisans de la transformation de l’église en parc d’affaires ont mis en ligne une pétition en utilisant un nom d’auteur trompeur « les amis des vrais catholiques ». Il ne faut surtout pas signer cette pétition-là.
Pour ne pas vous tromper, utilisez un copier-coller à partir de l’adresse ci-dessus (en rouge).
La bonne pétition présente un dessin représentant l’église Saint Bernard de Lyon.
