La chambre régionale des comptes du Languedoc-Roussillon s’est penchée sur les comptes de Le Barcarès, petite commune des Pyrénées-Orientales. Le rapport publié le 7 avril s’attarde sur les comptes de… 2011. Mais passons cette lenteur et observons les chiffres.

Cette commune compte à peine plus de 4.000 habitants mais sait faire la fête ! Elle a dépensé plus d’un demi-million d’euros sur le budget 2011 en… achats de bouche et diverses nourritures. 511 bouteilles de whisky, 60 bouteilles de vodka, 57 bouteilles de rhum blanc, 70 bouteilles d’apéritif, 600 bouteilles de muscat, 800 bocaux de foie gras entier et 800 autres bocaux de confit de canard ! La commune sait se soucier de la table de ses édiles ! D’ailleurs la liste ne s’arrête pas ici. 10.500 euros dépensés en chocolats. Un repas municipal avec 230 demi-langoustes, 32 kilos de langoustines et 150 kilos d’huîtres… Un autre achat municipal de 200 kilos de carré d’agneau…

Mais la maire assume : il s’agit de garantir « la convivialité » dans sa commune !
