C’est une belle initiative comme on aimerait en voir plus souvent. Depuis le 7 décembre 2016, à Colmar, les paysans ont pris possession de l’ancien supermarché Lidl et 35 fermes y font de la vente directe.
L’enseigne « Cœur paysan » assure un circuit court, un juste prix pour les paysans et des produits de qualité pour les clients. La formule est simple, pas d’intermédiaire, les produits passent directement du producteur au consommateur. Et, naturellement, le succès est au rendez-vous.
Maraîcher, Denis Digel vend en direct dans ce magasin « Cœur Paysan » à Colmar et a toutes les raisons de se réjouir :
« Ici c’est notre coquille, et on y met nos produits. Moi, je suis maraîcher et je vends mes tomates ici. Nous assurons des permanences à tour de rôle pour être au contact des clients. Et ça permet d’écouler nos produits au prix juste. Souvent dans les filières classiques, les prix en grande surface n’ont rien à voir avec leur valeur économique. Nos produits ont un prix et c’est ce qu’on a envie de dire avec ce magasin. Et les gens le comprennent. Les clients qui viennent chez nous ne vont plus en supermarché classique. On a un peu trop oublié que le paysan du coin est essentiel ».
Nicolas, petit éleveur d’une quarantaine de chèvres, explique qu’il ne veut pas faire du « volume » ni « se débarrasser de ses produits dans la grande distribution ». Voilà pourquoi ses fromages de chèvre se vendent ici.
