Belgique – A quelques jours des élections communales et provinciales du dimanche 14 octobre 2018, les tensions deviennent de plus en plus palpables entre les différents partis politiques mais aussi entre l’extrême gauche et tout ce qui lui déplaît. Les nervis « antifascistes » appellent notamment leurs militants à arracher les paquets de tracts des mains des militants nationalistes, à arracher leurs affiches, à jeter des œufs sur les affiches nationalistes mises aux balcons de particuliers. Et derrière ces consignes « modérées », il y a des passages à l’acte plus radicaux comme le lancer d’un cocktail molotov visant un café à l’intérieur duquel des militants du mouvement NATION buvaient un verre parmi d’autres clients !
En réponse à ce que le mouvement NATION qualifie d’ « attentat », la tête de liste de NATION dans la commune bruxelloise d’Evere, Eddy De Smedt, appelle à une importante présence militante sur le marché d’Evere, le mercredi 10 octobre entre 10h et midi, pour une distribution de tracts.
Il sera rejoint et soutenu par Hervé Van Laethem, président de NATION (qui fut ciblé lors de l’attaque à la bouteille incendiaire de dimanche dernier) mais aussi par Udo Voigt, député européen allemand du NPD.
