Présentation du Millénaire de Serralongue
1018-2018 : 1000 ans ça se fête !
A l’occasion de cet évènement exceptionnel la commune et ses habitants se sont mobilisés pour offrir aux visiteurs des animations médiévales pour petits et grands.Le comité du millénaire en charge de l’organisation générale a conçu un programme de trois jours centré sur la vie du village en 1018:
– Marché médiéval avec démonstrations du savoir faire de l’époque par les artisans Forgerons, Bûcherons, Maréchal Ferrant, Potier, Tisserands (filage de laine), Tourneur sur bois, – Spectacles et animations artistiques médiévales avec harpistes, danseurs, chanteurs médiévaux, comédiens),
– Animations médiévales autour de la vie civile et militaire de l’époque (calligraphie,enluminures, herboristerie, combats, saynettes, magie, cuisine…).
Des focus sur des animations spécifiques et des programmes particuliers seront postés tout au long de cette année sur notre page Facebook et sur notre site internet actuellement en construction.

Accueillir et divertir
L’organisation du Millénaire a prévu une logistique adaptée pour accueillir les visiteurs au village, mise en place de parking extérieurs, stands de boissons médiévales et de produits dérivés, restauration rapide et restauration traditionnelle.
Les grands rendez-vous du millénaire :
– Tous les jours, animations médiévales.
– vendredi 17 en après-midi : Bas Fourneau Coulée de fer
– vendredi 17 au matin : Inauguration de l’œuvre des ferronniers catalans.
– vendredi 17 et samedi18 : Août Conférences historiques
– vendredi 17 21H00 : Théâtre Médiéval avec le théâtre Arlésien : « Gondemare le Maudit! » – vendredi 17 au soir Retraite aux flambeaux
– dimanche 19 Août 11H00 : Messe en l’église du village avec Mgr Norbert Turini, évêque d’Elne et de Perpignan
– dimanche 19 Août : La sardane de Serralongue avec la Cobla Tres vents
