L’ONU, dans le cadre d’une campagne Free & Equal, diffuse un clip vidéo de banalisation de l’homosexualité dans le style Bollywood typique au cinéma indien. Le clip vidéo a été présenté à Mumbai en présence de Navi Pillay, Haut commissaire aux droits de l’homme.
L’ONU a recruté pour l’occasion Celina Jaitley, ancienne Miss Inde reconvertie dans le cinéma et la chanson et connue pour ses prises de position favorables aux revendications LGBT.
Ban Ki-Moon, secrétaire-général de l’ONU s’est fendu d’un communiqué pour dire à quel point il est « un ardent défenseur de la campagne Free & Equal« . L’ONU se dit également satisfaite de la reconnaissance par l’Inde d’une « identité de genre séparée« …
