Nous avons vu dans un précédent article d’où venaient la première communauté immigrée de chaque pays d’Europe. Mais comme pendant que certains arrivent, d’autres s’en vont, dans quel pays les expatriés des différents pays d’Europe s’installent-ils ?
L’Allemagne arrive en tête en étant le choix d’immigration des Polonais, Tchèques, Autrichiens, Hongrois, Slovènes, Italiens, Luxembourgeois, Grecs et Turcs, soit 9 pays.
La Russie attire les ressortissants de 5 pays : l’Estonie, la Lettonie, la Biélorussie, la Moldavie et l’Ukraine.
Le Royaume-Uni en est à 4 : l’Irlande, l’Ile de Man, Chypre et la Lituanie.
A 3 pays, nous avons la France qui est la première destination des expatriés belges, espagnols et portugais ; l’Italie attire ceux de Suisse, de Roumanie et d’Albanie ; et la Suède les expatriés danois, norvégiens et finlandais.
Britanniques et Maltais privilégient le départ vers l’Australie, Croate et Monténégrins s’exilent en Serbie alors que Macédoniens et Bulgares choisissent la Turquie et que Andorrans et Français préfèrent l’Espagne.
Certaines destinations ne sont prisées que d’un seul pays : Etats-Unis pour l’Allemagne, Belgique pour les Pays-Bas, Croatie pour la Bosnie-Herzégovine, Tchéquie pour la Slovaquie, Autriche pour la Serbie, Ukraine pour la Russie, Norvège pour la Suède et Danemark pour l’Islande.
Notons quelques situations intéressantes : les Islandais rêvent de s’expatrier au Danemark et ce sont les Danois qui immigrent le plus en Islande. Même cas de figure avec les Chypriotes et les Irlandais vis-à-vis des Britanniques, des Autrichiens vis-à-vis des Allemands, des Slovaques vis-à-vis des Tchèques et des Ukrainiens vis-à-vis des Russes (et réciproquement !). Parmi les pays qui sont effectivement la première communauté immigrante dans le pays où ils immigrent le plus, notons le cas de la Roumanie (immigration en Italie), de l’Ukraine (immigration en Russie), de la Russie (immigration en Ukraine) et de la Slovaquie (immigration en Tchéquie).
