Mardi 2 août, le Sénat de Haïti a approuvé un dessein de loi qui interdit le « mariage » gay en prévoyant aussi des sanctions relatives allant jusqu’à 3 ans de prison. 4 votes en sa faveur contre un contraire et une abstention.
Le sénateur Carl Murat Cantave qui propose ce projet de loi a commenté qu’une telle norme est nécessaire « pour protéger les jeunes et les familles de la dépravation ». Maintenant il reste à obtenir l’approbation de la Chambre.
Il existe encore des pays qui résistent courageusement aux pressions mondiales du lobby Lgbtqietc.
