Donald Trump ne se laisse pas intimider par le lobby gay et ses pressions. A conte-courant de l’administration Obama très gay-friendly, il a décidé que le mois de juin ne sera pas, comme dans le passé, le mois de l’orgueil gay !
Il continue sur sa ligne anti-lgbt : en effet dès son arrivée au pouvoir, le nouveau président des États-Unis avait fait retirer du portail de la Maison Blanche la section dédiée aux revendications du monde arc-en-ciel.
Évidemment, la communauté Lgbtqi a crié au scandale et a fait entendre le sempiternel refrain, l’accusant d’attaques discriminatoires, etc. La fille de Trump, Ivanka, soutien des revendications homosexuelles dont le fameux « mariage » gay, a de son côté, dans un tweet, rendu public son appui au mois de l’orgueil gay. Père et fille ne sont pas sur cette question sur la même longueur d’ondes. Reste à espérer que Ivanka et son mari, beaucoup plus conformistes que Trump, n’aient pas gain de cause sur le dossier homosexuel, comme ils l’ont eu sur d’autres affaires importantes, notamment en politique extérieure.
