Une revue pour homosexuels, Garçon Magazine, s’offre un coup de pub en publiant en couverture un montage-photo d’Emmanuel Macron, avec le vrai visage de l’homme politique et le corps torse nu d’un mannequin qui, selon les rédacteurs du journal, « présentait les traits physiques du candidat ».
Cette publication relance les rumeurs concernant une relation homosexuelle entre Emmanuel Macron et le PDG de Radio France, Mathieu Gallet. Rumeurs que le candidat à l’élection présidentielle avait déjà cru devoir démentir : « Vous entendrez des choses, que je suis duplice, que j’ai une vie cachée (…)Si dans les dîners en ville on vous dit que j’ai une double vie avec Matthieu Gallet, c’est mon hologramme qui m’a échappé, ça ne peut pas être moi ! »
Christophe Soret, rédacteur en chef de Garçon, revendique un acte militant : « Depuis le début de la campagne, l’homme politique s’évertue à montrer une démarche progressiste sur laquelle nous pouvons peut-être fonder une partie de nos attentes en matière d’évolution des droits LGBT ».
Une citation attribuée à Macron apparaît aussi en couverture : « La communauté LGBT trouvera toujours en moi un défenseur«
