Les Français de l’Etranger sont nombreux à s’être rendus aux urnes dès ce matin pour participer à cette élection présidentielle. Certains ont longuement patienté, comme au Canada où la file d’attente atteignait parfois trois heures.
En Belgique, un problème a été signalé. Les affiches de Marine Le Pen n’ont pas pu être apposées dans les bureaux de vote.
Le site de RTL Belgique rapporte le témoignage de Julie : « Voici le scandale: je vais au bureau de Charleroi, pas d’affiche de Marine Le Pen. J’ai voulu en mettre une, la sécurité l’a retirée et je me suis fais mettre dehors. J’ai été au bureau de vote de Namur. Pareil. C’est injuste et encore moins démocratique« .
« Les affiches sont imprimées par les candidats eux-mêmes et il leur revient de les déposer auprès de la commission électorale avant la date limite« , dans ce cas-ci le lundi 10 avril, a-t-on expliqué au ministère des Affaires étrangères. Selon le ministère, « seuls 10 candidats ont livré ces affiches à la commission électorale dans les délais impartis. Leurs affiches figurent donc sur les panneaux électoraux des bureaux de vote. L’affiche de la candidate Marine Le Pen n’ayant pas été fournie, le panneau correspondant restera donc vide« , a-t-on expliqué.
Cette situation s’est-elle vérifiée dans tous les autres pays où votaient des Français de l’Etranger ?
Les Français se sont massivement rendus aux urnes en Europe et sur le continent américain, où le vote s’est tenu samedi, 24 heures avant la métropole.
Environ 1,3 million de Français sont inscrits sur les listes consulaires, soit 2% du corps électoral.
