Le 27 février 2017, le président de la République François Hollande se rendra au siège du Grand Orient de France (GODF), rue Cadet à Paris, pour une cérémonie maçonnique intitulée «300 ans de Franc-Maçonnerie, 300 ans d’Emancipation».
François Hollande s’entretiendra d’abord une dizaine de minutes en privé avec Christophe Habas dans le bureau du Grand Maître du GODF. Ensuite, le président de la république consacrera vingt minutes à visiter le Musée de la franc-maçonnerie, avant qu’arrive le moment des prises de parole. D’abord le discours Christophe Habas, puis celui de François Hollande.
Ce jour-là, dix-sept obédiences maçonniques seront exceptionnellement rassemblées.
