Amine L., qui se faisait appeler « Elbistouri » sur internet, est un ex-interne de l’hôpital de la Timone à Marseille, qui a continué d’exercer à la Timone comme médecin bien qu’il ait été plusieurs fois signalé pour ses menaces sur Twitter de commettre des attentats en 2015. C’est finalement en Turquie qu’il a été arrêté, alors qu’il tentait de rejoindre la zone irako-syrienne des combats. La Turquie d’où il a été expulsé le 25 décembre, avant d’être mis en examen et écroué jeudi soir, « soupçonné » d’apologie du terrorisme.
Il « a été mis en examen pour « association de malfaiteurs en relation avec une entreprise terroriste criminelle » et placé en détention provisoire conformément aux réquisitions du parquet de Paris, a précisé la source.
Âgé de 29 ans, il avait été présenté à un juge antiterroriste jeudi dans la journée après avoir passé quatre jours en garde à vue dans les locaux de la sous-direction antiterroriste (SDAT), à Levallois-Perret (Hauts-de-Seine).
