Cette année nous fetons le 1700ème anniversaire de St Martin, en Pannonie ( actuelle Hongrie ).
Fondateur de Ligugé, premier monastère sur le sol gaulois, puis évèque de Tours, apotre infatigable et zélé de la vraie Foi et le Charité chrétienne, grand évangélisateur des campagnes gauloises demeurées jusqu’alors paiennes, St Martin est l’un des Sts Patrons de la France et une grande figure de la Chrétienté. Longtemps son tombeau à Tours attira les foules de pèlerins. En ces temps d’oubli, de doutes, d’apostasie, et de périls divers s’abattant sur la France et sur l’Europe, prenons notre baton de pèlerin et mettons nos pas dans ceux de ce grand Saint. Prions le d’intercéder au Ciel pour nos familles, pour l’Eglise, pour notre Patrie et pour la Chrétienté.
Pèlerinage de la Tradition catholique le SAMEDI 26 NOVEMBRE 2016, organisé par le prieuré St Martin ( F.S.S.P.X ) et la paroisse St-Grégoire-des-Minimes de Tours.
Programme:
– 8h00: r.d.v à Marmoutier parking de l’ancienne abbaye ( « site archéologique » ) accessible depuyis le rond-point Jean Le Rest ( prévoir pique-nique du midi dans les sacs-à-dos ).
– 8h30: Départ en plusieurs chapitres en direction, le long de la Loire, de St Grégoire-des-Minimes.
– 10h30: messe en l’église Saint-Grégoire-des-Minimes.
– 12h30: repas tiré du sac dans les jardins de l’évèché ( actuel musée municipal ).
– 14h00: départ de la procession depuis St Grégoire-des-Minimes vers la basilique Saint Martin à travers les rues du centre-ville de Tours.
– 14h30: prières et dévotions à St Martin dans sa basilique et devant son tombeau dans la crypte.
– 15h30: retour à St-Grégoire-des-Minimes et, en cette église, conférence sur St Martin par m. l’abbé Boivin, professeur au séminaire d’Econe.
