Si l’archevêque de Barcelone ne l’interdit pas, le mercredi 9 novembre, le Sanctuaire de Sainte-Marie de Montserrat accueillera une conférence de Jeronimo Saavedra, socialiste franc-maçon, intitulée « W. A. Mozart et la franc-maçonnerie « .
La conférence aura lieu après la messe de 18h30 durant laquelle sera interprété le Requiem de Mozart. Cette activité est organisée conjointement par le sanctuaire de Sainte-Marie de Montserrat Pedrables, le Cercle Artistique Reial et son orchestre, ainsi que le Conseil suprême, 33eme degré du Rite écossais, organisme de la franc-maçonnerie condamnée par l’Eglise catholique.
Récemment, l’évêque de Tenerife, Mgr Bernardo Alvarez, avait interdit une messe de funérailles que voulait organiser la loge de Don Jeronimo Saavedra.
