L’Etat Islamique a revendiqué l’attaque à la machette de deux policières à Charleroi.
L’agresseur avait crié « Allah Akbar » en frappant les deux policières près du commissariat de Charleroi avant d’être abattu. Il est maintenant identifié. Les médias belges ne communiquent pudiquement que ses initiales, K. B., mais on sait qu’il s’agit d’un homme âgé de 33 ans, de nationalité algérienne en séjour en Belgique depuis 2012. Il est connu des services de police pour des infractions de droit commun. Amaq, l’agence de presse liée à l’Etat islamique, a diffusé ce message : « Une source interne a confirmé à l’agence que l’attaque dans la ville de Charleroi en Belgique a été effectuée par l’un des soldats de l’Etat islamique en réponse aux appels ciblant les ressortissants des pays de la coalition croisée« .
L’une des deux policières, Hakima, a été gravement blessée par des coups de machette à la tête et souffre de plaies profondes à hauteur du visage. Elle était cependant parvenue à tirer à deux reprises sur le djihadiste. L’assaillant islamiste avait encore blessé Corinne, une autre policière, avant de s’effondre sous le tir d’un troisième policier.
