Cela devient un vrai marathon législatif puisqu’on rappelle que la législature prendra fin début avril. Les parlementaires belges sont prêts à tout pour voter l’extension de l’euthanasie aux mineurs. On a pu découvrir que la proposition de loi était déjà en commission de la justice sans que les experts n’aient été entendus. Les demandes d’audition ont été tout simplement refusées tout comme l’avis de la commission de la santé. Tout se passe à la commission de justice. Hier, son examen devait être terminé ainsi que voté permettant au dossier d’arriver en séance plénière. La commission ne demandera pas l’avis du Conseil d’Etat, la suggestion formulée par le cdH et le CD&V (les deux paris démocrates-chrétiens) n’ayant pas recueilli le nombre de voix suffisant. Il est donc fort probable qu’à la vitesse où vont les choses, la loi sera votée d’ici avril.
L’argument selon lequel le Sénat aurait bien fait son travail semble difficilement recevable. On se demande bien pourquoi la Chambre sur un sujet aussi délicat et important, veut aller vite. N’y voyons bien sûr aucune idéologie !
