Les récents revers que l’armée syrienne subit dans la bataille d’Alep face aux groupes islamistes, surprennent après les brillantes victoires qu’elle a remportées dans la bataille de Palmyre avec la soutien de l’aviation russe. Pourquoi les islamistes en déroute il y a quelques semaines, semblent-ils reprendre l’avantage ? C’est ce que tente de dévoiler le professeur Bassan Tahhan.
Bassam Tahhan, Syrien d’origine, a fait ses études au Séminaire Sainte-Anne des Pères Blancs, à Rayak au Liban, avant de poursuivre ses études doctorales en France à l’École normale supérieure, à Paris. Pluridisciplinaire en langues et en géopolitique, il a enseigné à l’université d’Alep, au lycée Louis-Legrand, au lycée Henri IV, à l’École de guerre, à la Sorbonne etc. Il enseigne notamment aujourd’hui à Polytechnique.
