Arabie Saoudite – Les autorités sportives du royaume wahhabite ont décidé d’interdire les coupes de cheveux jugées anti-islamiques, ont rapporté des médias saoudiens.
Au début d’un match de football, la coiffure d’un joueur a été « corrigée » pour faire disparaître sa crête et se conformer aux directives de la Fédération saoudienne de football, comme le montre une vidéo mise en ligne sur des réseaux sociaux.
Sous les regards d’un arbitre, la coiffure du joueur a été refaite avant de l’autoriser à rentrer sur le terrain.
Des directives ont été adressées aux fédérations et au comité olympique pour « enrayer le phénomène al-qazaa », désignant les coupes exubérantes dans les stades et les salles de sport, selon le site sportif www.arriyadiyah.com.
« Ce phénomène est contraire à l’islam et aux traditions du royaume« , a écrit un journaliste du quotidien saoudien Al-Jazirah, appelant la Fédération de football à « imposer des sanctions » aux joueurs récalcitrants dont « les coupes bizarres sont imitées par leurs fans dans les écoles« .
