Les éditions Marabout ont réimprimé ce carnet de chants scouts en y joignant tous les accords de guitare pour faciliter la mise en place de belles veillées autour du feu de camp.
Valérien Maxime de Monford a sélectionné cent chants scouts qu’il considère les plus beaux, a rédigé des informations concernant les chansons retenues et a organisé leur répartition en huit sections raisonnées de couleurs différentes.
Il a ensuite choisi d’illustrer ce carnet avec des œuvres de Pierre Joubert, artiste qui fut nommé illustrateur officiel du mouvement scout en 1934.
Au résultat, voici un très joli chansonnier regroupant un répertoire de chants appartenant au patrimoine français et une superbe collection de dessins dont on ne se lasse pas.
