Si les médias ne cessent de prôner en Europe le « vivre-ensemble », ils ne s’inquiètent guère de l’apartheid promu en Israël.
Sur Twitter, Bezalel Smotrich, député du parti HaBayit HaYehudi, a proposé mardi de séparer les mères arabes et les mères juives dans les maternités des hôpitaux israéliens.
Le tweet faisait suite à une information diffusée à la radio israélienne signalant que les hôpitaux séparaient les mères arabes et juives dans les maternités quand les mères le demandaient.
Son tweet ayant créé une controverse, Bezalel Smotrich a développé ses pensées :
. « Il est naturel que ma femme ne veuille pas se coucher [dans un lit] à côté d’une femme qui vient de donner naissance à un bébé qui pourrait vouloir l’assassiner bébé dans vingt ans. »
. « Les Arabes sont mes ennemis et voilà pourquoi je n’aime pas être à côté d’eux. »
Sa femme, Revital, a renchéri en déclarant sur la Dixième chaîne avoir « mis un obstétricien arabe à la porte de la salle [d’accouchement]. Je veux que des mains juives touchent mon bébé et je ne me sens pas à l’aise d’être couchée dans la même chambre qu’une femme arabe ». Et d’ajouter :
« Je refuse d’avoir une sage-femme arabe, parce que pour moi l’accouchement est un moment juif et pur. »
On imagine le tollé international si un élu du Front National avait déclaré quelque chose de semblable en France.
