Le journal britannique The Sun signale que les archives britanniques ont publié, jeudi dernier, des témoignages et des documents relatifs à la vie dans les camps de concentration.
Parmi ces documents figure une note manuscrite de Harold Le Druillenec, seul survivant anglais du camp de concentration de Bergen-Belsen.
Harold Le Druillenec avait été arrêté en 1944 à Jersey, pour avoir caché un prisonnier de guerre russe. Il passera par trois camps avant d’être libéré le 16 avril 1945 à Bergen-Belsen.
Le journal The Sun rapporte ce témoignage de Harold Le Druillenec :
« La loi de la jungle régnait parmi les prisonniers ; la nuit, vous tuiez ou étiez tué ; le jour, le cannibalisme était endémique. »
