Belgique – La télévision flamande VTM a annoncé que les deux terroristes en fuite après la fusillade de ce mardi dans le cadre d’une perquisition à Forest ont été arrêtés, l’un déjà cette nuit, l’autre ce matin.
Le parquet fédéral a prévu une conférence de presse qui débute ce mercredi à 10h30.
Hier, un terroriste armé d’un fusil d’assaut avait été tué pendant l’opération de police. Dans le cadre de l’instruction menée par le parquet fédéral à la suite des attentats de Paris, une perquisition devait être effectuée mardi vers 15h00, dans un appartement situé rue du Dries à Forest. Lors de cette opération, les policiers ont subi des tirs dès l’ouverture de la porte. Quatre policiers ont été blessés: trois dans un premier temps, dont une policière française, et le quatrième plus tard, pendant un des échanges de coups de feu. Tous ont pu quitter l’hôpital, selon le ministre de l’Intérieur Jan Jambon sur les ondes de la VRT.
Les perquisitions dans le quartier ont duré une bonne partie de la nuit. La police fédérale a procédé à une nouvelle perquisition ce matin, vers 6h, à Forest, avenue du Bempt.
Selon le quotidien La Dernière Heure, Khalid et Ibrahim El Bakraoui pourraient être les deux individus arrêtés.
