Henry Cuny fut ambassadeur de France en Arménie de 2002 à 2006. Il a notamment été l’organisateur de la première visite d’un Chef d’Etat français en Arménie. Il est aussi le cofondateur de l’Université française en Arménie.
Ce petit ouvrage est une succession de sept regards posés sur l’Arménie. Tombé sous le charme de ce peuple, Henry Cuny marie en ces quelques pages les observations du diplomate et la sensibilité esthétique de l’écrivain.
