Les rapports de médecins et chercheurs ont démontré que les microcéphalies constatées au Brésil ne sont, dans la grande majorité des cas, pas liées au virus Zika mais à un produit anti-moustique – le pyriproxifène fabriqué par Sumitomo Chemical, partenaire de Monsanto – pulvérisé massivement, y compris dans les réserves d’eau potable.
Pourtant, jeudi, dans l’avion qui le ramenait du Mexique, le pape François a déclaré que pour lutter contre le virus Zika, la contraception était envisageable comme un moindre mal.
« Il ne faut pas confondre le mal qui consiste à éviter la grossesse avec l’avortement. L’avortement n’est pas un mal mineur, c’est un crime. Au contraire, éviter la grossesse n’est pas un mal absolu.«
On se souvient que précédemment, le pape François avait déclaré aux Philippines que les catholiques ne devaient pas procréer « comme des lapins« .
Au lieu de désigner les véritables responsables de ce crime sanitaire impliquant le gouvernement brésilien et l’une des plus célèbres multinationales, le pape François avance dans la voie des recommandations de l’OMS. Indirectement, en participant aux discours d’épouvante autour du virus Zika, les paroles du pape François ne feront que renforcer les mouvements féministes qui, au mépris de la vérité, exploitent le virus Zika et l’affaire des microcéphalies pour revendiquer la légalisation de l’avortement.
