L’hymne du mouvement anti-immigration PEGIDA, une musique sans parole intitulée Gemeinsam sind wir stark (« Ensemble, nous sommes forts ! »), est commercialisé sur différents portails internet et connaît un énorme succès.

Cet hymne de PEGIDA est notamment diffusé par le géant Amazon.

Ce morceau musical est passé numéro un des ventes de singles sur Amazon Allemagne, devançant la chanteuse Adèle et sa chanson « Hello ».

Le mouvement PEGIDA a annoncé que les bénéfices qu’il percevra de la vente de cet hymne seront utilisés pour venir en aide aux « sans logis allemands« .

Mais Amazon conserve un tiers du produit de la vente et a annoncé pour sa part qu’il reverserait cet argent « à une organisation de bienfaisance soutenant les réfugiés« .
