Le metteur en scène italien Romeo Castellucci revient avec son ignoble spectacle blasphématoire Sur le concept du visage du fils de Dieu (Sul concetto di volto nel figlio di Dio).
C’est à Lausanne, au Théâtre de Vidy, que ce spectacle dégoûtant est programmé jusqu’au dimanche 15 novembre.
Rappelons-en les grandes lignes. Un vieillard incontinent défèque durant une grande partie du spectacle. En toile de fond se trouve un gigantesque portrait du Christ. A la fin du spectacle, le vieillard grimpe sur une échelle et déverse sur ce portrait du Christ un liquide fétide suggérant la déjection. Le portrait du Christ, horriblement souillé, est finalement recouvert d’une inscription projetée : « Tu n’es pas mon berger ».
Au préalable, Castellucci fait monter sur scène des enfants qui sortent de leurs cartables des grenades factices avec lesquelles ils caillassent le portrait du Christ. Au moment où des chrétiens, en Orient, sont persécutés et assassinés en raison de leur foi dans le Christ, cette scène apparaît comme un scandale supplémentaire.
En France, à l’initiative de Civitas, la jeunesse catholique s’était soulevée contre cette provocation blasphématoire. Qu’en sera-t-il en Suisse ?
