Frère Hervé Janson, Prieur général des petits frères des pauvres, l’un des dix supérieurs généraux élus pour le synode, est intervenu jeudi 15 octobre à l’assemblée du synode.
« Oui, qu’ils soient divorcés remariés, homosexuels, épouses de foyers polygames… ils sont frères et sœurs de Jésus, donc ils sont notre famille ! (…) L’Eucharistie est la nourriture de ceux qui sont en chemin pour former le Corps du Christ »
Il a ensuite déclaré à la radio :
« Une voie est en train de se dégager : celle en faveur d’une commission qui retravaillerait ces questions, avec des théologiens, des historiens ».
Mais ce frère est-il encore seulement catholique ?
Que dirait un cardinal Pie en entendant ça ? Lui qui disait à Albert de Mun : « Monsieur le Comte, on n’est apôtre qu’à la condition de travailler à être saint ; et la première condition de la sainteté, c’est l’orthodoxie. La plus généreuse ardeur n’y saurait suppléer. Nous ne pouvons rien sans la grâce, et l’on n’amènera point la grâce à divorcer avec la doctrine. Chez le serviteur de Dieu et de la cause divine, l’erreur, même inconsciente et qui ne constitue pas le péché formel, est encore un très grave obstacle à la fécondité de la parole et de l’action. »
