Médias-Presse.Info signalait jeudi l’intention de la Républiqué Démocratique du Congo de pénaliser l’homosexualité. Une condamnation de l’homosexualité largement partagée sur le continent africain, malgré les efforts de l’ONU, des Etats-Unis et de la Fondation Bill Gates d’imposer un nouvel ordre sexuel mondial, chantage aux subventions à l’appui.
Ce vendredi matin, l’Ouganda a adapté une nouvelle législation qui vise «à protéger la famille traditionnelle en interdisant toutes les formes de relations sexuelles entre personnes de même sexe et la promotion ou la reconnaissance de telles relations sexuelles par les institutions publiques comme étant un mode de vie sain, normal ou acceptable, y compris dans les écoles publiques, à travers ou par une quelconque entité du gouvernement ougandais ou par une organisation non-gouvernementale à l’intérieur ou à l’extérieur du pays».
L’homosexualité était déjà interdite en Ouganda. La nouvelle loi prévoit de durcir les peines pour les récidivistes de même que pour les homosexuels dont un des partenaires serait mineur ou porteur du virus VIH. La nouvelle loi interdit également toute promotion publique de l’homosexualité.
Les parlementaires exhortent le Président Yoweri Museveni à ratifier la loi le plus vite possible. L’an dernier, la présidente du Parlement, Rebecca Kadaga, avait souhaité que cette loi qui veut « protéger la famille traditionnelle » soit un «cadeau de Noël» fait aux Ougandais.
