L’Amiral Guillaud, chef d’état-major des armées, a envisagé quelques nouveaux conflits militaires qui attendent la France. S’exprimant devant un parterre d’officiers supérieurs au cours d’un colloque à l’Ecole militaire au début de ce mois, l’Amiral Guillaud a prédit : « Nous serons amenés à commander d’autres interventions que celle du Mali ». Et d’expliciter : « Cette certitude, c’est l’instabilité qui caractérise nos zones d’intérêt prioritaire : le Machrek, la bande sahélo-saharienne, l’Afrique en général, le Proche et le Moyen-Orient, le Golfe. » Bref, le monde va mal et les opérations extérieures de la France sont inévitables mais l’Amiral Guillaud a aussi rappelé pudiquement que l’armée française ne se porte pas bien non plus et qu’elle connaît de grandes « fragilités capacitaires ».
Pour confirmer quelques inquiétudes liées à la recrudescence d’un djihad africain, il y a le développement d’Ansar al-Charia (les Partisans de la Charia), mouvement créé en Tunisie. Le journal allemand Welt am Sonntag a révélé le 15 décembre dernier la tenue à Benghazi (Libye) d’une réunion de différents responsables djihadistes venus d’Algérie, de Tunisie, du Maroc, d’Egypte et de Libye dans l’intention de concerter de nouvelles stratégies… Or, ces fanatiques sont notamment approvisionnés en dollars par un ancien patron des services secrets… saoudiens, ce fameux « allié » de l’Occident dont il faut sans cesse se méfier !
