Les autorités de la République de Macédoine ont décrété jeudi l’état d’urgence aux frontières Sud et Nord du pays en raison de l’afflux d’immigrés illégaux. Le déploiement de l’armée a été décidé, rapporte l’agence de presse macédonienne officielle MIA.

« Nous pensons que le recours à l’armée va produire deux effets escomptés: améliorer la sécurité pour nos concitoyens dans ces deux régions et permettre une meilleure approche des gens qui souhaitent demander l’asile« , a déclaré le porte-parole du ministère macédonien de l’Intérieur, Ivo Kotevski, cité par l’agence.
