Les élections régionales de décembre s’annoncent cruelles pour le parti socialiste. A l’heure actuelle, le PS contrôle toutes les régions métropolitaines, hormis l’Alsace. Mais au soir du 13 décembre, ce voile rouge sur les régions de France aura très probablement disparu. Selon les dernières prévisions des conseillers socialistes, le PS ne conserverait que trois régions métropolitaines, quatre en cas de succès. L’Aquitaine-Poitou-Charentes-Limousin, la Bretagne et le Midi-Pyrénées-Languedoc-Roussillon sont les derniers bastions « assurés » du parti socialiste. L’Ile-de-France pourrait peut-être être conservée si le PS y limite les dégâts. Pour le reste, sortez les mouchoirs…
Si ces prévisions se confirment, il s’agira de la cinquième défaite socialiste consécutive. De quoi susciter quelques angoisses à l’Elysée et à Matignon avant la présidentielle de 2017.
