L’Armée américaine a abattu par erreur deux otages occidentaux d’al-Qaida, un Américain et un Italien, lors d’une opération à la frontière pakistano-afghane. Au cours de ces opérations militaires, elle a éliminé aussi l’Américain Adam Gadahn, un autre méricain, qui était lui, responsable supérieur d’Al-Qaïda et son porte-parole, ainsi que le Chef d’Al-Qaïda: Ahmad Farouq, qui était également citoyen américain tout en étant vice-émir d’Al-Qaïda dans le sous-continent indien. Indique dans un communiqué » de la Maison Blanche Josh Earnest .
« C’est avec une infinie tristesse que nous avons conclu qu’une opération américaine antiterroriste menée en janvier a tué deux otages innocents d’al-Qaida », a expliqué la présidence américaine.
Le président Barack Obama s’est exprimé à 16 heures, il a déclaré « comme président et comme commandant en chef j’assume la pleine responsabilité de ces opérations », et promet d’en tirer les « leçons ». Il a exprimé sa « douleur » lors de son allocution.
Les autorités ont expliqué qu’à l’époque des faits (en janvier) « il n’y avait aucune de croire que l’un ou l’autre otage était présent » quand le raid a été mené.
Ce sont donc quatre Occidentaux qui ont été abattus dans cette série d’opérations lancées « contre un complexe d’al Qaïda », par les militaires US. Les victimes sont l’Italien Giovanni Lo Porto, otage d’al Qaïda et l’Américain Warren Weinstein, un travailleur humanitaire qui avait été kidnappé par al-Qaida le 13 août 2011 au Pakistan, à son domicile de Lahore. Si les Américains restaient chez eux, le monde s’en porterait mieux et bien des guerres auraient été évitées… Ces dramatiques erreurs permettent néanmoins de mettre en lumière la confusion créée par l’immigration de peuplement et l’importation de la religion musulmane dans des pays de tradition chrétienne, en Europe comme en Amérique. La citoyenneté signifie-t-elle encore quelque chose aujourd’hui en dehors de la nécessité de posséder des papiers pour des raisons administratives ?
