J’ai regardé ce téléfilm avec attention.
J’y ai vu :
La description d’une opération qui n’a rien à voir avec le scoutisme : pas d’organisation, pas de chef de troupe pour « commander », pas de patrouille, et, évidemment, pas d’idéal.
Des enfants, comme beaucoup.
Un prêtre, sorte d’aumônier à tout faire, y compris à diriger ce groupe d’enfants alors qu’il n’en a visiblement pas la compétence (« Avez-vous pris la météo ? » – « Non » – « Avez-vous vérifié le bateau ? » – « Non »)
Des parents qui font une confiance aveugle à l’abbé.
Je n’y ai pas vu :
La cause de l’accident.
La tentative de sauvetage d’un jeune garçon qui a perdu la vie. Si la caravelle était en mer, où était-il, ce jeune sauveur ?
Je garde de l’ensemble un sentiment de malaise.
Clairement on canarde « l’intégrisme catholique » : les voitures ont des plaques d’immatriculation d’aujourd’hui, mais la messe, et la communion, est celle d’avant le Concile, que la caméra semble ridiculiser. Le casting de certains parents « fatalistes et pro-abbé » en rajoute un couche.
Mais, surtout, ce film ne débouche sur rien.
Je peine à voir ce que les réalisateurs ont voulu démontrer.
Le scoutisme trinque : pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas ce mouvement, c’est montré comme un truc archi vieillot. Pourtant, l’une des répliques (vers la fin) est « Ce ne sont pas des scouts ». Pourquoi alors présenter ces jeunes gens comme des scouts ?
Le catholicisme trinque, car la peinture qui en est faite ne correspond sans doute pas à la réalité d’aujourd’hui, et c’est bien d’aujourd’hui que l’on veut nous entretenir, sinon on aurait montré des voitures d’époque.
Qu’est-ce que l’on en retire ? Malheureusement rien, à mon humble avis.
En bref, un film qui gagne à ne pas être connu !
