C’est un duel FN – UMP qui aura lieu dès le premier dans le canton de Saint-Porchaire en Charente-Maritime. Raison officielle : « Malheureusement, un des candidats n’a pas déposé sa candidature en préfecture à temps », d’après Stéphane Trifiletti, porte-parole d’Europe Ecologie-Les Verts de Charente-Maritime. EELV avait fait un accord pour présenter une liste commune avec le PS.
Plus qu’un malheureux contretemps, il y a fort à parier que le candidat de gauche n’a pas voulu se présenter pour prendre la fessée déculottée qui lui était promise, car dans ce canton, aux élections européennes, le FN est arrivé en tête avec 26,16 % et l’UMP à 24,03%. Quant aux socialistes ils obtenaient 11,24% et EELV 10,66%. Autant dire que la gauche était de toute façon certaine d’être éliminée au premier tour à ces départementales.
Que la gauche se rassure, il lui reste le candidat de l’UMPS : « Personnellement, je voterai pour le candidat UMP », a rajouté Stéphane Trifiletti. Nous voilà rassuré !
La gauche tremble, comme Manuel Valls.
