Yann Barthès en arroseur arrosé ! Le 12 novembre dernier, Yann Barthès, l’animateur du « Petit Journal » de Canal + avait pris un ton solennel pour condamner la « quenelle » – ce geste de ralliement à l’humoriste Dieudonné jugé antisémite – réalisée par un invité du public.
Et voilà que quelques jours suffisent pour qu’apparaisse une photo compromettante pour Yann Barthès lui-même ! La photo est prise en juillet 2012 et montre l’animateur du Petit journal réalisant lui-aussi ce geste qu’on appelle « quenelle ». Pas de doute, la photo est authentique. Mais le pauvre Barthès aurait fait ce geste « sans en connaître le sens ». Présentera-t-il néanmoins ses excuses publiques, histoire de montrer sa totale soumission à la pensée unique ?
Un proche de l’animateur de Canal raconte aux Inrocks : « Yann avait été invité à un tournoi de football en salle en juillet 2012 entre l’équipe du Petit journal et une équipe composée d’utilisateurs de Twitter. A la fin du match, il s’est plié à une séance de dédicaces et à quelques photos souvenirs. L’un des joueurs lui a demandé de faire ce geste comme certains lui demandent parfois des cœurs ou un pouce levé. Yann l’a fait sans en connaître la signification. »
Pour l’humoriste Dieudonné, la « quenelle » est un « symbole d’insoumission au système ».
